Irina Izaguirre

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1958. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved painting. Also the knowledge of the Nature aroused my curiosity. That's how after highschool, I studied biology, but I continued painting and drawing. Althouh I'm basically selftaught, I have attended to different art ateliers in Argentina and Spain. Biology is present in most of my works. One of my main sources of inspiration is water in all its forms and concepts. Nature provides me its shapes, movements, textures, colors and flavorings, matter, energy and their meanings.
